Mechasaurus Mayhem

Legend states that buried deep in the aerated tropics there lies an ancient civilization lost to time.  As a survivor of the mechasaurus world takeover, seeking to end the tyrannical reign of the great mechasaurus dinos, you must find this civilization and destroy its very last remaining dinos. 

As you make your way through the low-poly islands scattered across the sky, you will come across several different dinos, all deadly in their own way. The islands are teeming with life, but they are also home to metal mecha dinosaurs - the creations of the Stegosaurus Rex's minions. These powerful machines are guarding the teleporters that will take you to the next island where even more powerful dinosaurs await. But you are not without resources. First you are armed with a simple pistol, and progressively gather larger weapons, like a boulder launcher, you embark on a journey to defeat the mecha dinosaurs, collect barrels, and activate the teleporters. As you progress, you discover new types of dinos and new terrain, giving you the need to create different strategies that you’ll need to take down your robotic foes. The first island is just the beginning. The mecha dinosaurs get stronger as you progress, but so do your weapons. From simple pistols to powerful boulder launchers, you'll have the firepower to take on anything the Stegosaurus Rex throws your way.  Are you up for the challenge? In this island hopping dinosaur shooter, the gameplay will consist of fast paced strategy based combat with the user having to learn the quirks and tendencies of each of their enemies to successfully defeat them. Each level introduces new guns, mechanics, and strategies to fight the enemies. To progress through each level, the player must find and collect several pieces of a broken teleporter hidden throughout the level. Upon collecting the parts, the player may repair the teleporter and progress to the next level.

How to Play

Run around the islands and collect all of the metal barrels in order to activate the teleporter. Each teleporter is marked by a dark obelisk, and will start glowing once it is activated. Should the player choose to fight the dinosaurs, weapons can be found across the islands to help the player in this endeavor. Happy hunting!

Weapon Types

Pistol:

The pistol is the standard weapon of the player, dealing low damage with a low fire rate and magazine size.

Bola:

Launches a Bola that stuns enemies for a short time, dealing very low damage with a medium fire rate and small magazine size.

Shotgun:

Launches a spray of bullets each dealing their own damage, dealing high damage at close range and having a medium fire rate and magazine size.

Sniper:

Hitscan weapon that deals high damage and has a cooldown rate.

Boulder Launcher:

Launches a boulder in the direction the player is facing, rolling relatively slowly in that direction and dealing massive damage on impact. After firing a boulder, a long reload time is required.

Rocket Launcher // Grenade Launcher:

Launches a rocket//grenade that slowly reaches its target, dealing high AOE damage with a small magazine size.
